After moving into their ranch-style home, these homeowners wanted to completely transform the exterior and create a landscape that felt timeless, intentional, and welcoming. They partnered with OAK Outdoors to guide them through every decision, from selecting a paint color that complements the home's architecture to designing a landscape that delivers year-round beauty. The existing exterior lacked structure, color, and visual interest, so our goal was to create a cohesive design that would enhance curb appeal while remaining functional and easy to maintain.
Our design centered around a strong evergreen framework using junipers, Nellie Stevens hollies, cedar trees, and azaleas to provide structure throughout the year. We layered in colorful Oklahoma native flowers to support pollinators and add seasonal interest, then incorporated a custom natural stone fountain to create a memorable entry experience with the calming sound of flowing water. To complete the transformation, we designed a subtle outdoor lighting system that highlights key landscape features and ensures the property's beauty extends well into the evening. The result is a thoughtfully curated outdoor environment that blends architecture, landscape, water, and lighting into one cohesive vision.
