Entry Level: Green Space Tech

This is where the journey begins. You’ll be out in the field making lawns sharp, beds polished, and learning the ropes of professional landscaping. It’s hands-on, outdoors, and a solid way to kickstart your career. Pay starts around $18–$21/hr, with room to grow as you build skills.

Future Path: Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll step up into a Green Space Supervisor role.

Green Space Supervisor

Now you’re leading the crew. You’ll still be hands-on, but you’ll also be calling the shots — making sure jobs get done right and teaching new team members the tricks you’ve already picked up. Pay averages $22–$26/hr depending on experience.

Future Path: With strong leadership and great client interactions, you’re on track to become a Project Manager.

Project Manager

This is where landscaping meets leadership. You’ll be running installs, enhancements, and specialty projects from start to finish. Clients will know your name, and crews will look to you for direction. Pay ranges from $27–$30/hr (or salary equivalent).

Future Path: If you love strategy, scheduling, and keeping big operations running smooth, you’ll grow into an Operations Manager.

Operations Manager

You’ve got the big picture now. You’ll oversee multiple crews, balance schedules, keep resources moving, and make sure OAK Outdoors's standard of quality is delivered across the board. Pay typically runs $60,000–$72,000/year.

Future Path: With strong leadership and results, you’re ready to step into Senior Leadership.

Senior Leadership

At this stage, you’re helping shape OAK Outdoor's future. You’ll have a say in strategy, growth, and culture. You’ll guide teams, mentor rising leaders, and be part of the decision-making that steers the whole company. Pay starts around $75,000+ with opportunities tied to growth and performance.

Future Path: This is the top tier — from here, you may move into executive leadership or even run your own division.


